How did this site come about?


I wrote an article for the Gazette newsletter about places to find free site templates. The email response was immediate. Subscribers wanting to know where to find more templates.

I created a category for ToolsForThe.Net and filled it with even more places to find templates.

Again the response was for even more templates, but there just were no more to be found.

That is what led to the creation of this site.

Do I have to keep the links at the bottom of the template pages for Copyright and "Powered by: Free Site Templates"?


No, you do not.

The Copyright line is there to show you where to put your copyright and contact information. They also serve to protect Free Site Templates' copyrights while the templates are being displayed on our servers and to keep other free sites from posting our templates as their own.
